Wedding Wisdom: Flower B Florist

Planning a wedding is one of the most exciting chapters in your life, but with so many decisions to make, it can sometimes feel a little overwhelming. Flowers have the power to completely transform a space, set the tone for the day, and tell your love story in the most beautiful way! That's why I am so excited to have Belinda, of Flower B Florist, share her experience in this month's Wedding Wisdom.

How far in advance should couples contact you?

As soon as you have your confirmed wedding date with your venue I would recommend getting in touch, couples are planning their weddings earlier each year. I often find key bank holidays and weekend summer dates get booked up 2 years in advance!

What are some of the biggest wedding trends you've noticed recently, and how can couples incorporate them into their celebrations?

I’ve noticed a few key trends; one very popular one would be the use of bright bold colours like hot pink and orange shades with large headed flowers like peony, roses and hydrangeas to create eye catching designs. Also the use of citrus fruits like oranges, lemons and even peaches incorporated with the florals.

Can you share any timeless wedding style ideas that never go out of fashion?

The classic all white look with touches of foliage I would say is very timeless.

Finally, what are your top 3 tips for couples planning a wedding, when it comes to your specialism?

  • Book the key suppliers that are important for you big day early to avoid disappointment.
  • Spend your money on large, key designs rather than lots of small things, as it will make more of an impact at your venue and on your all important wedding photos!
  • Repurpose designs from ceremony to wedding breakfast; get creative, you don’t need to follow the wedding traditions!
